Fruit -- Scripture Study wk 18

Leviticus 26:3[ "If You Live by My Decrees..." ] "If you live by my decrees and obediently keep my commandments, I will send the rains in their seasons, the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. You will thresh until the grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting time; you'll have more than enough to eat and will live safe and secure in your land.

Proverbs 18:20 Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest

Galatians 5:22 But what happens when we live God's way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely.

Philippians 1:9So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover's life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.
MY JOURNALING ON THE PAGE THIS WEEK READS AS FOLLOWS ,
I DIDN'T QUITE UNDERSTAND THE WORD FRUIT TO BEGIN WITH BUT THE MORE I READ INTO THE SCRIPTURE THE MORE I BEGAN TO SEE WHY IT WAS THERE THE VERSE IN LEVITICUS MADE IT START TO STAND OUT TO ME BECAUSE IF WE LIVE OUR LIVES IN THE WORKS AND THE WAYS AND BELIEFS OF GOD THEN LIKE HES PROMISED TO PROVIDE THE GROUND AND THE SOIL WITH THE SEEDS AND THEN THE RAIN FOR THEM TO GROW AND PROSPER FOR US TO HAVE THE FOOD .TO GROW AND NOURISH HIS PROMISE IS RIGHT THERE IN THE SCRIPTURE FOR US IF WE BELIEVE THEN HE WILL NOURISH US SO THAT WE CAN GROW LIKE THE FRUIT TO BE ALL THAT WE CAN AND NEED TO BE WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
THE SONG THAT STANDS OUT TO ME FOR THE WEEK WITH THIS WORD IS BY AVALON TESTIFY TO LOVE ! check it out

glory scripture pg

TO GOD BE THE GLORY GREAT THINGS HE HATH DONE--

To know God and all his Glory isn't that the best relationship we can ever want or ask for as Christians everywhere around us is the Beauty Love and Glory of Gods wonders if we just take the time to stop and breath it all in and shout our praises of love and faith unto him

the verses that i have in green are the ones that are used on my page for the week

the others below are ones that I really liked and wrote down in reference on my page also to go back at a later date and reread them when I need to study the word again !

Friends today i hope that God is working his Glory in your life , that even tho we are in the midst of hard times in our economy and standings that you don't give up your faith and trust in Jesus he is there ALWAYS and if you ever need some one to talk to hes there to listen I hope that these verses touch you and remind you of Gods amazing Glory and the fact that its in everything all around . As I look around in my own life I see the many things that Gods working on and through in so many of my family and friends and where hes trying and they are rebelling against him I hope that you all realize that we all live because of an amazing God and we also live in a Earth that every where you turn is filled with His Presence and GLORY ! Have a Blessed and wonderful day and thanks for stopping by ..
If you need to talk to some one please just shoot me a message !

1 Chronicles 16:23 Sing to God, everyone and everything! Get out his salvation news every day! Publish his glory among the godless nations, his wonders to all races and religions. And why? Because God is great—well worth praising! No god or goddess comes close in honor. All the popular gods are stuff and nonsense, but God made the cosmos! Splendor and majesty flow out of him, strength and joy fill his place.

1 Chronicles 16:28 Shout Bravo! to God, families of the peoples, in awe of the Glory, in awe of the Strength: Bravo! Shout Bravo! to his famous Name, lift high an offering and enter his presence! Stand resplendent in his robes of holiness!

Romans 5:1[ Developing Patience ] By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.

Ephesians 1:3[ The God of Glory ] How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.

2 Thessalonians 2:13Meanwhile, we've got our hands full continually thanking God for you, our good friends—so loved by God! God picked you out as his from the very start. Think of it: included in God's original plan of salvation by the bond of faith in the living truth. This is the life of the Spirit he invited you to through the Message we delivered, in which you get in on the glory of our Master, Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 4:12[ Glory Just Around the Corner ] Friends, when life gets really difficult, don't jump to the conclusion that God isn't on the job. Instead, be glad that you are in the very thick of what Christ experienced. This is a spiritual refining process, with glory just around the corner.

Psalm 62:7 My help and glory are in God —granite-strength and safe-harbor-God— So trust him absolutely, people; lay your lives on the line for him. God is a safe place to be.

Psalm 63:2 So here I am in the place of worship, eyes open, drinking in your strength and glory. In your generous love I am really living at last! My lips brim praises like fountains. I bless you every time I take a breath; My arms wave like banners of praise to you.

1 Chronicles 29:10 David blessed God in full view of the entire congregation: Blessed are you, God of Israel, our father from of old and forever. To you, O God, belong the greatness and the might, the glory, the victory, the majesty, the splendor; Yes! Everything in heaven, everything on earth; the kingdom all yours! You've raised yourself high over all. Riches and glory come from you, you're ruler over all; You hold strength and power in the palm of your hand to build up and strengthen all. And here we are, O God, our God, giving thanks to you, praising your splendid Name.

Ezekiel 1:25 And then, as they stood with folded wings, there was a voice from above the dome over their heads. Above the dome there was something that looked like a throne, sky-blue like a sapphire, with a human like figure towering above the throne. From what I could see, from the waist up he looked like burnished bronze and from the waist down like a blazing fire. Brightness everywhere! The way a rainbow springs out of the sky on a rainy day—that's what it was like. It turned out to be the Glory of God! When I saw all this, I fell to my knees, my face to the ground. Then I heard a voice.

John 17:20I'm praying not only for them But also for those who will believe in me Because of them and their witness about me. The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind— Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, So they might be one heart and mind with us. Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me. The same glory you gave me, I gave them, So they'll be as unified and together as we are— I in them and you in me. Then they'll be mature in this oneness, And give the godless world evidence That you've sent me and loved them In the same way you've loved me.

Romans 15:7 So reach out and welcome one another to God's glory. Jesus did it; now you do it! Jesus, staying true to God's purposes, reached out in a special way to the Jewish insiders so that the old ancestral promises would come true for them. As a result, the non-Jewish outsiders have been able to experience mercy and to show appreciation to God. Just think of all the Scriptures that will come true in what we do! For instance: Then I'll join outsiders in a hymn-sing; I'll sing to your name! And this one: Outsiders and insiders, rejoice together! And again: People of all nations, celebrate God! All colors and races, give hearty praise! And Isaiah's word: There's the root of our ancestor Jesse, breaking through the earth and growing tree tall, Tall enough for everyone everywhere to see and take hope! Oh! May the God of green hope fill you up with joy, fill you up with peace, so that your believing lives, filled with the life-giving energy of the Holy Spirit, will brim over with hope!

His Presence Scripture Page

Its a day late but with good reason I promise ! Have a Great Day thanks for stopin by !

So Many Wonderful and Moving verses out of the bible this week our study word is HIS PRESENCE and ive found my self searching long and hard to find Gods Presence and see where its at in my life , While doing the searching like with his Love I have come to realize that its there all around me ! My journaling on the page reads as follows , Gods Presence is everywhere around us Its in each of the seasons the animals and plants in the books and music all around us In seeking my own relationship in my walk with God ive come to realize just how much , I know that Gods there His Presence is known in my life and it excits me I just want to scream Gods word from the roof tops and share it with everyone

I hope that you will take a moment and read the verses ive chosen that touched me in the study in reading them and writing out the blog and working on my page the song that speaks to me most about this study is My Deliver by Mandisa . God is truly amazing and I long for the day that everyone comes to understand God and His Presence and purpose in our of our lives!

Exodus 15:26 That's the place where God set up rules and procedures; that's where he started testing them. God said, "If you listen, listen obediently to how God tells you to live in his presence, obeying his commandments and keeping all his laws, then I won't strike you with all the diseases that I inflicted on the Egyptians; I am God your healer."

Deuteronomy 10:12 So now Israel, what do you think God expects from you? Just this: Live in his presence in holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you, obey the commandments and regulations of God that I'm commanding you today—live a good life.

1 Kings 8:59"And let these words that I've prayed in the presence of God be always right there before him, day and night, so that he'll do what is right for me, to guarantee justice for his people Israel day after day after day. Then all the people on earth will know God is the true God; there is no other God. And you, your lives must be totally obedient to God, our personal God, following the life path he has cleared, alert and attentive to everything he has made plain this day."

1 Chronicles 16:8 Thank God! Call out his Name! Tell the whole world who he is and what he's done! Sing to him! Play songs for him! Broadcast all his wonders! Revel in his holy Name, God-seekers, be jubilant! Study God and his strength, seek his presence day and night; Remember all the wonders he performed, the miracles and judgments that came out of his mouth. Seed of Israel his servant! Children of Jacob, his first choice! He is God, our God; wherever you go you come on his judgments and decisions. He keeps his commitments across thousands of generations, the covenant he commanded, The same one he made with Abraham, the very one he swore to Isaac; He posted it in big block letters to Jacob, this eternal covenant with Israel: "I give you the land of Canaan, this is your inheritance; Even though you're not much to look at, a few straggling strangers."

John 17:1 [ Jesus' Prayer for His Followers ] Jesus said these things. Then, raising his eyes in prayer, he said: Father, it's time. Display the bright splendor of your Son So the Son in turn may show your bright splendor. You put him in charge of everything human So he might give real and eternal life to all in his charge. And this is the real and eternal life: That they know you, The one and only true God, And Jesus Christ, whom you sent. I glorified you on earth By completing down to the last detail What you assigned me to do. And now, Father, glorify me with your very own splendor, The very splendor I had in your presence Before there was a world.

1 Corinthians 14:1 Prayer Language ] Go after a life of love as if your life depended on it—because it does. Give yourselves to the gifts God gives you. Most of all, try to proclaim his truth. If you praise him in the private language of tongues, God understands you but no one else does, for you are sharing intimacies just between you and him. But when you proclaim his truth in everyday speech, you're letting others in on the truth so that they can grow and be strong and experience his presence with you.

1 Corinthians 14:4 The one who prays using a private "prayer language" certainly gets a lot out of it, but proclaiming God's truth to the church in its common language brings the whole church into growth and strength. I want all of you to develop intimacies with God in prayer, but please don't stop with that. Go on and proclaim his clear truth to others. It's more important that everyone have access to the knowledge and love of God in language everyone understands than that you go off and cultivate God's presence in a mysterious prayer language—unless, of course, there is someone who can interpret what you are saying for the benefit of all.

1 John 3:21 And friends, once that's taken care of and we're no longer accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold and free before God! We're able to stretch our hands out and receive what we asked for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him. Again, this is God's command: to believe in his personally named Son, Jesus Christ. He told us to love each other, in line with the original command. As we keep his commands, we live deeply and surely in him, and he lives in us. And this is how we experience his deep and abiding presence in us: by the Spirit he gave us.

1 John 5:13[ The Reality, Not the Illusion ] My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God's Son will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion. And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he's listening. And if we're confident that he's listening, we know that what we've asked for is as good as ours.

Psalm 95:1 Come, let's shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us! Let's march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns!

Psalm 105:1Hallelujah! Thank God! Pray to him by name! Tell everyone you meet what he has done! Sing him songs, belt out hymns, translate his wonders into music! Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs, you who seek God. Live a happy life! Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence. Remember the world of wonders he has made, his miracles, and the verdicts he's rendered— O seed of Abraham, his servant, O child of Jacob, his chosen.

I pray today that God speaks to you and from the bottom of your heart youll let him in let his Presence in your life also be known and listen to the amazing words that he says and speaks to you ! Have a Blessed and Wonderful Day

Live Scripture Page

Doing this word really got to me and I have soo many verses for it that I really do not know where to start at !
My journaling on the page reads ,
We are given our own life to LIVE and God guides us down the roads in the in the directions that he wants us to go down , And even if we do go astray and tho we may go off on our own way or question his love GOD is there for us always he died so that we may live ! As we should Honor Him for what hes done
The book of Deuteronomy has so many great verses that played well with the word Live and touched me in one way or another I have 7 from that book alone the 2 that's made the page written out are
Deuteronomy 10 ;12-13 So now Israel, what do you think God expects from you? Just this: Live in his presence in holy reverence, follow the road he sets out for you, love him, serve God, your God, with everything you have in you, obey the commandments and regulations of God that I'm commanding you today—live a good life.
Deuteronomy 30; 16 And I command you today: Love God, your God. Walk in his ways. Keep his commandments, regulations, and rules so that you will live, really live, live exuberantly, blessed by God, your God, in the land you are about to enter and possess.
Others that stood out but didn't get wrote out on the page are
Deuteronomy 4;39 - Deuteronomy 4;9 - Deuteronomy 25;13 - Deuteronomy 30;6 and Deuteronomy 11;18
Ecclesiastes 11; 7 -11 Oh, how sweet the light of day, And how wonderful to live in the sunshine! Even if you live a long time, don't take a single day for granted. Take delight in each light-filled hour, Remembering that there will also be many dark days And that most of what comes your way is smoke. 9 You who are young, make the most of your youth. Relish your youthful vigor. Follow the impulses of your heart. If something looks good to you, pursue it. But know also that not just anything goes; You have to answer to God for every last bit of it. 10 Live footloose and fancy-free— You won't be young forever. Youth lasts about as long as smoke.
Isaiah 33; 15-16The answer's simple: Live right, speak the truth, despise exploitation, refuse bribes, reject violence, avoid evil amusements. This is how you raise your standard of living! A safe and stable way to live. A nourishing, satisfying way to live
The other verses that stood out to me but i didn't have the room to write them out and as always i like to be able to go back and look them up at a later time so i also want to share them here with you also and they are
2 Timothy 3;14 --- Ezekiel 18:5 --- Isaiah 38:16 --- Exodus 23;25--- Psalms 105;5 --- 1 Timothy 2;1 --- Proverbs 22;17--- Leviticus 23;3 ---James 5;16 --- Exodus 20;12--- Psalms 71--- 1 Thessalonians 5;4 ---1 Thessalonians 5 ;16
All the verses that I use come from www.biblegateway.com and the version that I use to search my words is The Message
The song I'm choosing to go with this page is Life Song By Casting Crowns
Thanks for stopping by and i hope that you've enjoyed reading about the word Live and how much I enjoyed doing it Have a Blessed Day

Joy Scripture Challange -- and books review !

The word for the week this week is JOY and God is so wonderful about bringing Joy into my life I'm excited to share the post about this word ! So I am going to JUMP right in to sharing the scriptures with this word that stand out to me So bare with and thanks for reading it its pretty long !

Job 22: 26-30 "You'll take delight in God, the Mighty One, and look to him joyfully, boldly. You'll pray to him and he'll listen; he'll help you do what you've promised. You'll decide what you want and it will happen; your life will be bathed in light. To those who feel low you'll say, 'Chin up! Be brave!' and God will save them.Yes, even the guilty will escape, through God's grace in your life."

Proverbs 15:30 A twinkle in the eye means joy in the heart, and good news makes you feel fit as a fiddle.

Acts 2:28 You have made known to me the paths of life you will fill me with joy in your presence

And as always the other verses that stood out to me and I also want to add them to the post are as follows !

Ecclesiastes 5:18 - John 15:11 - Romans 14:17 - 1 Corinthians 7:29 - Psalms 113:4

And i feel the need to share the verse for this one cause it stands out to me for those who are struggling from losing a loved one And as Ive made a few sympathy cards in the last few days and got news of another friend losing his mother this week I wanna share it

2 Timothy 1: 3-4 Every time I say your name in prayer—which is practically all the time—I thank God for you, the God I worship with my whole life in the tradition of my ancestors. I miss you a lot, especially when I remember that last tearful good-bye, and I look forward to a joy-packed reunion.

My journaling on the page reads as follows ,
The Joy that God has brought into my life is nothing short of amazing even when times have been hard theres always Joy that comes after the storm I love ability in being a child of God and having the Joy and love that he offers to me and everyone

As some of you may know here lately I've been reading alot more then crafting and Ive been reading books by the Author Karen Kingsberry if you haven't ever read any of her books I highly recommend them Ive made it through 3 of hers so far in the last 2 months

Where Yeasterday Lives - this one hit home with me because it is about losing a parent unexpectedly and then finding your self back in your hometown dealing with many mixed emotions about your faith and different things in your life ! I liked it alot and I do recommend it to any one

When Joy Came To Stay - This one all I can say is wow ! its a story dealing about a woman who gave a child up for adoption and lived with it for many years keeping it to her self ! but further more it deals with a subject that alot of people alot of Christians like to sweep under a rug and try and admit doesn't exist it deals alot with depression ! And a undying faith in God ! Very Very Good book

On Every Side - This one wow I don't know where to begin with my take on this book other then to say it really got to me in so many ways on so many levels First of all it deals with the subject of a parent stricken with cancer and dying from it and with Grama having been in that situation that's the first thing that struck out to me its also about a brother and sister separated in the foster care system for many yr and a faith that has been tested pushed aside and even doubt with blame and alot of regret , I just finished reading this one last night or i should say at 3 am this morning it got to me that much I just couldn't put it down until I finished it and with the word this week being Joy that's a sense I felt as i continued to read each page of this book , Its almost like i was there watching the scene unfold my self and the book is truly amazing If you have never read a christian fiction book , ever doubted your faith or even questioned God and his very existence and purpose for you in your life ! Please get this book and read it !

I pray today that each of you that read my blog today that maybe in some way it touches you , and that each and every one of you are safe , I am blessed and so full of my own happiness and joys in life that i want to share them with every one , and I am so grateful to God for the many wonderful family and friends that he has blessed me with and even for the things that may lie in the path ahead ! the new friends that I may make , I hope that this blog even if it touches just one person in a way that moves them closer to you Christ then I have done something good and I am grateful for that ! Please lord keep those I love safe you know the many prayer request and topics in my heart LORD ! ---- Even if i don't get to say them all aloud ! please know they are there ! .. amen !

Thank you for stopping by and reading this ! I know as always Ive tended to get long winded but this was another one of them post where i just prayed for God to guide me and give me the words to speak as I wrote it out ! I hope you have a blessed and wonderful day ! Make sure you also check out Christinas page for her take on the word Joy also !

Listen -- Scripture Challange Page (this ones long )

Ive got to start this post out with a song ! The song is by Brandon Heath and its called Wait and See !

Lyrics:I was born in Tennessee Late July humidity Doctor said I was lucky to be alive I’ve been trouble since the day that I got here Trouble till the day that I disappear That’ll be the day that I finally get it right There is hope for me yet Because God won’t forget All the plans he’s made for me I have to wait and see He’s not finished with me yet I never really was that good in school I talked too much, broke the rules Teacher thought I was hopeless fool alright I don’t know how but I made it through It’s one of those things that you’ve gotta do But I always had a knack for telling the truth

Chorus Still wondering why I’m here Still wrestling with my fear But oh, He’s up to something And the farther on I go I’ve seen enough to know That I’m, not here for nothing He’s up to something So now’s my time to be a man Follow my heart as far as I can No telling where I’m ending up tonight I never slow down or so it seems But singing my heart it’s one of my dreams All I gotta do is hold on tight

Very good song and a reminder to us that we are all a work and process that we have to Listen to God to learn about his purpose for us and that he will guide us Gods not finished with us yet we are always set to learn something and understand something new I feel honestly every day that Life is a lesson unto God and that by listening to him he will guide us where we need to be

Here are the verses that God to me for this word And as there was no way to write out every one of these and put them on the page alot of them have the book and passages wrote down so i can get back and reread them but I do want to share them with you , The book of Deuteronomy touched me alot with this word so alot of my verses are from that book

I truly love this verse as to me its speaks volumes and very loud ones to me at that

Deuteronomy 4:29-But even there, if you seek God, your God, you'll be able to find him if you're serious, looking for him with your whole heart and soul. When troubles come and all these awful things happen to you, in future days you will come back to God, your God, and listen obediently to what he says. God, your God, is above all a compassionate God. In the end he will not abandon you, he won't bring you to ruin, he won't forget the covenant with your ancestors which he swore to them.

Deuteronomy 11:13-From now on if you listen obediently to the commandments that I am commanding you today, love God, your God, and serve him with everything you have within you, he'll take charge of sending the rain at the right time, both autumn and spring rains, so that you'll be able to harvest your grain, your grapes, your olives. He'll make sure there's plenty of grass for your animals. You'll have plenty to eat.

Deuteronomy 12:28-Be vigilant, listen obediently to these words that I command you so that you'll have a good life, you and your children, for a long, long time, doing what is good and right in the eyes of God, your God.

Job 22:26-"You'll take delight in God, the Mighty One, and look to him joyfully, boldly. You'll pray to him and he'll listen; he'll help you do what you've promised. You'll decide what you want and it will happen; your life will be bathed in light. To those who feel low you'll say, 'Chin up! Be brave!' and God will save them. Yes, even the guilty will escape, escape through God's grace in your life."

Proverbs 4:20-[ Learn It by Heart ] Dear friend, listen well to my words; tune your ears to my voice. Keep my message in plain view at all times. Concentrate! Learn it by heart! Those who discover these words live, really live; body and soul, they're bursting with health.

Proverbs 8:32-"So, my dear friends, listen carefully; those who embrace these my ways are most blessed. Mark a life of discipline and live wisely; don't squander your precious life. Blessed the man, blessed the woman, who listens to me, awake and ready for me each morning, alert and responsive as I start my day's work. When you find me, you find life, real life, to say nothing of God's good pleasure. But if you wrong me, you damage your very soul; when you reject me, you're flirting with death

Jeremiah 29:12"-When you call on me, when you come and pray to me, I'll listen.

What else could possibly need to be said after that verse there ! When we call his name and pray to him Hes there HE WILL LISTEN
