Scripture Page - Wait

The word for the week this week is Wait , I thought for sure when i first saw the word for the week that i would have a hard time , but contrary to first thoughts once i started studying the word it came and was hard to narrow it down to just a few verses that stuck out to me

First one I used on my page is

Isaiah 25-9,10 1Also at that time, people will say, "Look at what's happened! This is our God!We waited for him and he showed up and saved us! This God, the one we waited for!Let's celebrate, sing the joys of his salvation. God's hand rests on this mountain!"

Second one is

Isaiah 30, 18But God's not finished. He's waiting around to be gracious to you. He's gathering strength to show mercy to you.God takes the time to do everything right—everything. Those who wait around for him are the lucky ones.

Third is

Lamentations 3-25,27God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks.It's a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God.It's a good thing when you're young to stick it out through the hard times.

Fourth is

Hosea 12-6 What are you waiting for? Return to your God! Commit yourself in love, in justice!Wait for your God, and don't give up on him—ever!

my writing on the page says this - So many times I find my self in the position to have to wait , And so many times I try to fight the wait . But after studying this small little 4 letter word WAIT its packed with so much meaning ~ Gods telling me to slow down to wait and let things happen as they are supposed to and not as I want them to . I need to be patient and wait Good things do come to those who WAIT right !

And the song that i am choosing to use this week as the one that stands out to me in relation to this word is by Third Day the song is called Slow Down --- i was listening to one of my play list while working on the page this morning (it came together really easy for me ) and this song come on and i had to stop a min and really listen to it
